Great Ice Cream Shop. The family working the counter was awesome!

It's always a great time at the Malt Shop! I had an egg cream... If you're a New Yorker, you know what I'm talking about... And a jumbo hot dog... Yummy, yummy, yummy!

THERE WAS FLIES EVERYWHERE. Burger was mediocre, chocolate shake needed extra squirt of chocolate, mom looked up "uhhhh" there was so many flies. CORN FLAVORED FRIES!!! HOW DO YOU MESS UP FRIES???? chicken was pretty good. KETCHUP TASTED LIKE SUGAH. ice cream was good. servers were real nice and family-like. made everything a little better.

Honestly it seemed like the person working there did not even want me there . customer service sucked. The ice cream was okay, but i do not like dark chocolate and they have dark chocolate in the chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream. the place smelled so bad. And all i'm saying is it looked like he used his finger (gloveless) to get the ice cream off of the scoop. wouldn't recommend.

My wife and I live half of the year in this area and enjoy going to the cannonball malt shop. We love it. The malts are just like we grew up with when we were kids. The hamburgers are incredible, with stacks of condiments. They are the best. The only negative I can put forth is that they close down in the winter. It’s a sad sad winter. On the other hand it is I happy happy spring when they open up again.

If you want a GREAT old fashion burger, malt, "phosphate", or ice cream creation, this is the place to go. The staff if friendly and efficient and the price is right. It is small and cozy and definately worth any wait that you might experience.

This cute little Malt Shop has an assortment of Turkey Hill ice cream products and many options we got there after the kitchen closed but I'm sure the food we would have been delicious and the staff are great! One scoop with two toppings came to about $7

Awesome owner, great ice cream. When we come from Delaware a few times a year our main stop is to get our ice cream and enjoys the conversations from the owners and staff. Number 1 in our eyes!!

Turkey Hill ice cream in an old time setting.

Good, but there are probably some better places nearby, judging by the number of ice cream shops seen when driving around. My ice cream had ice chips in it from freezer burn. My husband's pistachio shake was good but had a little too much milk and was soupy. Staff was very friendly and service was very good.

Love this place. Great atmosphere. Ice cream is turkey hill and is delicious. Haven't tried the fries, but they come recommend.

The hours here seem haphazard and arnt posted anywhere. We have walked up more than once and it's been closed. My milkshakes always taste like straight milk to be but my boyfriend swears they're great. Place is okay.

These are the nicest people! You get treated like family as soon as you walk in. Ice cream is great, and the sandwiches are delicious and generous. Tell them Dr. John sent you!

I reserve one and two star reviews for places I wouldn’t come back to. This ice cream shop is one of them. Had a great meal nearby at a distillery and came here with friends and kids for ice cream. The ice cream is average (Turkey Hill brand) at best but the customer service is simply horrible. Specifically it was an older man who was working who seemed like the owner. My recommendation: look elsewhere.

This is one of our absolute favorite places to eat. From the delicious ice cream and shakes, to the best burgers ever. Today I got a chicken chipotle wrap that was out of this world. As if that's not reason enough, the owners are the kindest, coolest people ever. I highly recommend this awesome place.🍦🌯🍧🍨🍔🍟

Great small town ice cream shop with tasty American food. Small inside, enough room for about 14-16 people at tables. Staff is very friendly and attentive to your needs. Quick service, great ice cream and milk shakes, and tasty french fries. Get a shake, you will not be disappointed.

Wow, what an experience. Enter as strangers and leave feeling like family. The staff are warm and funny, the shop is well-appointed and fits in perfectly with the Gettysburg ambiance. Go for lunch and return later for ice cream. In fact, go to Gettysburg to visit.

Poor customer service. We had a large family order and asked for an additional cup to hold some of the ice cream in. We were told that we couldn't unless we bought another scoop of ice cream. Ridiculous. We will take our business elsewhere.

Stopped by at 3:45 on a Tuesday and they were closed. No hours posted on site or door.

Went there with friends, we all thought the place was dirty. Wiping counters and hands with a dirty rag, and coughing on the ice cream, no thanks.

The malt was delicious and the flavors we're spot on. However the customer service we had the the pleasure of witnessing, I honestly wish it could have been better. Sad really, for such a cute little shop. Attitudes can make a huge difference.. for the size of shake you get I believe the large which is the largest? Anyway the cup is roughly around 12floz to 16floz at most and that itself is $6.00, also unless you plan on spending $10 dollars or more or you are ok with sacrificing an extra $1. You will be charged a swipe fee if using a credit or debit card. If you're frugal, stingy, or a miserable and just can't part with that dollar, I'd recommend bringing cash with you.

We wandered onto this delicious ice cream shop. We had just a single (generous) scoop each, mine was Black Cherry and the cherry chunks were huge!! Enjoy this gem near the center of town!!
